I got the steam key for this game from the devs and since I love me some horror games, I dove right in. I think my horror-experienced decision-making got me one of the more tame endings, the gore filter wasn’t even needed but this was still very fun. I loved the campy voice acting and characters, what a fun bunch to survive the night with (well, not everyone did but what are you gonna do?).
So first OF ALL - i ADORE THE ART!! KUDOS TO THE ARTIST ON ALL OF THIS.
aS WELL AS YOUR VOICE ACTORS - THEY WERE ALL A LOT OF FUN, DESPITE SEEMING LIKE THE MUSIC AND VOICE VOLUME SETTINGS DIDN'T ACTUALLY MATTER MUCH. i HAD TO BASICALLY JACK UP THE VOICES FULLY AND TURN THE MUSIC DOWN TO ABOUT HALF BEFORE i COULD TELL MUCH OF A DIFFERENCE.
fOR THE GAME ITSELF, IT IS QUITE FUN. a SIMPLE PREMISE, A BUNCH OF NOTEWORTHY CHARACTERS AND A REALLY IMPRESSIVELY AMBITIOUS AMOUNT OF POSSIBLE ENDINGS. uNFORTUNATELY, THE ONE i GOT FELT SOMEWHAT ANTICLIMACTIC IN THAT THE PROTAGONISTS JUST SORT OF GO TO BED AFTER A FEW DEATHS AND EVERYTHING IS BACK TO NORMAL IN THE MORNING, AND i FEEL LIKE THERE COULD AT LEAST BE A LITTLE MORE OF A CLIMAX TO IT. bUT PERHAPS ONE OF THE MANY OTHE RENDING SCRATCH THAT ITCH. iT JUST SEEMS LIKE A LOST TO PLAY A 40-MINUTE GAME 20+ TIMES TO TRY OUT DIFFERENT COMBINATIONS.
bUT i REALLY DID ENJOY THIS A LOT, DO NOT GET ME WRONG. wRITING' S FUNNY, ART IS GREAT, VOICE ACTORS ARE CLEARLY HAVING A BLAST AND IT ALL MAKES FOR A SUPER FUN EXPERIENCE!

We've determined that the game is only displaying this error when you download the Mac OS version as a zip from Itch and unfortunately it's a known Unity issue. If you download the game via the Itch launcher or via Steam you shouldn't have this issue.
If you still want to download the game as a zip, you'll need to take some additional steps.
First, you can try moving the game to your Applications directory, ctrl + clicking, and selecting "Open."
In the event that this does not resolve the issue, you can take these more technical steps:
really amazing game, you all did an amazing job, i'm still trying to go for all the endings, but they are so varied and so many different outcomes and i love that it's english voice acted, amazing thing to add, also love all the different CGS, there are so well done, i can see that so much love and care was put into this where your choices actually matter, keep up the good work.
I'm doing a playthrough on it, hopefully get all the endings before to long
